5High quality replacement for Honda Element  Sep 02, 2010
By M. Kaainoa "Kekailoa"
Wix is one of the companies that make products for places like Napa. If you look at the Napa gold air and oil filters, they say Wix on them. I have been using these Wix filters for my 2007 Honda Element and save money from buying the Napa parts but with the same quality.

5Better than Honda OEM, Wix is best  Apr 02, 2011
By Fish
The quality of this is way better than Honda OEM, which is made by Honeywell (makers of Fram). Wix makes great filters in the USA - and especially for the longer oil change intervals the Honda oil life system seems to indicate, so the solid construction of the Wix filter makes a difference. The price on Amazon is about what you'd expect to pay at your local auto parts store, but the convenience is hard to beat.

4Good quality  Feb 26, 2011

Wix are the same as Napa Gold, only less expensive. Well constructed, with internal end caps made of metal and a anti-drainback valve. Superior to Fram by a wide margin.

5Wix rules  Jan 17, 2012
By Yal
Probably the last of the affordable, well constructed, oil filters! If they ever stop making these or if they go out of business, or if they GOD FORBID cheap out on construction i'll probably stop keeping cars past 5 years LOL.
Only other filter brand that goes on my cars is PUROLATOR PUREONE GOLD. Wix is ONE, Purone is TWO :-)
Oh this is for a 2007 Honda Accord and I also use it on a 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5i wagon.
