Excellent ignition cables.
I bought this for my 1999.5 Jetta GL (1999 jetta with new body style). Make sure that you have the AEG engine not the ABA engine for these wires. If you have a 4 cylinder Jetta or Golf that is 1999 with the new body style or 2000-2004 you have the AEG engine which these plugs work for.

I bought these for my 2001 VW Golf 2.0L AZG, however they did not fit. At the time I bought them there was also another NGK set listed that I think probably fit. I ended up buying the Bosch set that I believe is OEM and it fit perfectly. I believe this set might fit earlier 2001 models. On my engine the #1 and #2 wires are a lot longer. Pay careful attention to the length of these two wires in the pictures. There is quite a difference. I hope that this helps someone.

The wires appeared great, but when I used them for more than a day I had a slight misfire. The #1 wire was faulty in some way (or just poorly made). I will not buy non-premium wires again.

Got these for my VW 2.0 AEG, no issues really other than the spark plug boot removal tool (a requirement) would not seat correctly as compared to the OEM cables. Not sure if it was the tool I bought or what? Not a serious problem for install but would be a problem for removal. The quality is great and the cost savings over OEM is substantial. The cable lengths are identical to the OEM, one hitch is the OEM's are labeled differently than these one using the numerical, the other alphabetical. Not a big deal but just note the firing order and do one at at time. Included dielectric grease is a nice bonus as well.
