I bought these for my 2005 Silverado 2500HD. I like the steel band around the boot. Time will tell if it serves its purpose. The threaded shaft on these where the outer tie rod threads on is longer than the OEM units. What I did was barely loosen my jamnuts and used that as a gauge to get me in the ball park enough to get it in for an alignment. This part also comes with a small tube of high strength thread locker.

I PUT THESE ON MY 2006 GMC 1500. BY FAR THE BEST PRICE AROUND AND I BELEAVE THEY ARE BETTER THEN OEM. WE WILL HOW MANY MILES I GET OUT OF THEM THOUGH. THE FACTORYS
LASTED ABOUT 70 K SO I WONT KNOW UNTILL 140 K.
