Glow little glow plug, glimmer glimmer. Feb 11, 2012

I want to thank Amazon.com for locating this Bosch 80028 Glow Plug for me at very low cost of $12.36. Three years ago, the VW dealer charged me over $37.00 for a glow plug and total price for glow plug and installation was over $200.00. Dealer said it was a hard job to do as it took them one hour and thirty min. to do the job.
I removed the old glow plug and installed the the Bosch 80028 Glow Plug in 20 min.
Job was easy as changing a spark plug. Some dealers will lie. New glow plug is working just fine.

I had a bad glow plug recently in my 2001 VW Golf TDI. I checked several places and Amazon had this Bosch Duraterm glow plug at a good price so I figured I would give it a shot. It works great. The fit and quality and well. The glow plug I received was made in France. It only took me a few minutes to swap out the old one with the new one. I ended up receiving this overnight from Amazon because of a close distribution center.

not much to say here. just put them in my 2001 Jetta TDI and they are working. the glow plugs should last a long time (4-5 years with my driving and climate) but I cannot comment on durability until they fail.
great price on Amazon and fast shipping. the only thing of note is that I ordered four of them and they shipped from two separate warehouses resulting in two packages but both arrived on the same day.
