Direct Replacement for 2002 Wrangler Oct 13, 2010
By Greg A. Miller Came with all components listed including grease zerks and hardware. Instructions were also included. If you remove the entire sway bar assembly from the vehicle as the service manual suggests, it is easier to remove the old links. I used a hammer and 1-ton gear puller to remove the old links; a 2 or 5-ton gear puller would have done the job easily. The cost for a gear puller ($15 at surplus center website) is much less than the special ball joint puller.
Much Better than OEM Apr 18, 2010

The unit is a perfect fit, with the addition of a user installed grease fitting and all required bushings and hardware, contrary to other reviews. They may have received open box items. The assembly itself, is much stronger than OEM, as the ball joint end is retained with a heavy lock ring, as opposed to the thin rolled metal crimp on the OEM piece. This MOOG piece is absolutely worth the premium and wait.
Good news ...Bad news Aug 02, 2008
By Buck Smith GOOD NEWS: The part - as shown, is excellent, MUCH stronger than OEM, plus has a place to insert included grease zerk - which OEM did NOT have.
BAD NEWS: There were NO bushings included for the lower fitting ... as the SAME Moog Brand Sway Bar Kit (K3197) that I purchased from O'Reilly, due to the fact that Amazon only listed 1 kit in stock. The sway bars SHOULD be replaced in pairs, when going from OEM to whatever other brand. You REALLY need the lower bushings because 1) OEM are rubber, Moog are neoprene; 2) Torque values are SO high (70 ft/lbs) that the OEM rubber bushings are totally distorted and NOT reuseable.
