May not be a Caddy, but rides like one now. Jan 26, 2011
By Grimm
"The Grimm Reaper"
I put these in a 2003 Cavalier Sport Coupe with 140,000 miles on it. The whole job took me 1 1/2 hours to complete. 3 bolts/nuts on the top and 2 one the bottom. This is by far the easiest strut job I have ever completed. The Quick-Strut package is a direct replacement and provides a better ride. The best thing about this package, is that I don't have to worry about compressing the spring. Makes for a very safe task.
With the free shipping, Amazon is by far the cheapest I have found these Quick-Struts.

Great Apr 23, 2012
By Dave Just as described. Works great on my 2001 cavalier. Once I had the car on stands and the front wheels off, it literally took 5-10 minutes per strut....and even then I think it might have been faster. One out...one in. Done. Remember....TORQUE THE BOLTS TO SPEC according to your cars specs. Don`t mess around with suspension and steering. You could kill yourself our others from loss of vehicle control. I highly recommend this strut, and the price can`t be beat.

Monroe "loaded" struts with spring Aug 22, 2011
By Richard M. Rots This was exactly the same strut assembly that is sold in the local auto supply stores for over $200 each. I watched a video online to understand how to replace the unti...a piece of cake. 3 bolts on top, 2 on the bottom and the whole unit comes out. Very easy project, a typical "handyman" can do. It took me about an hour and 15 minutes to do both sides start to finish. I did have an airgun which definetly help on the lower bolts as they are larger with higher torque. FYI, a local department store with auto center wanted around $750 to replace these two front struts...as savings of around $500.
