Good Hub - Best Price I found - fixed my problem May 21, 2009

I searched quite a few sites and sources and this was the best price I could find. Timken is THE quality name in this arena to my knowledge and I had the part the next day with NO expedited shipping. Installation was just a little tricky, but no real problem for those with respectable mechanic capability. This fixed my ABS and Traction Control problem on my 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo quite nicely.
I would certainly recommend both Amazon and Timken for any similar need.

Don't waste your time and money on cheap wheel bearings. I had to have my front wheel bearings replaced at the local auto shop which used cheap replacements. Both the bearings went bad in less than a year. I've bought 2 Timken's and so far which are working great. I just bought another one for the rear since the speed sensor went out. Excellent product.
Follow up: The speed sensor just went bad on this item so now I have to replace the bearing again and I will be out another $85+. It lasted just over a year. I'm swithcing my 5 star to a 3 star review.

No sound or play from rear of my car now!(have one on each side now) Was a pain to get the old ones out on a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix. Metal fused to the aluminum, dumb design. Piece of cake job once that was out of the way!

With today's cars, wheel bearing failure is common. What is not common is to find the wheel bearing hub, at a reasonable price, and with Amazon Prime, 2nd day shipping made the wait time for the part ok.
