 very complete 1 plug valve cover for my 99 ford 7.3 diesel Feb 24, 2011

This is a very complete valve cover kit that fits the ford 7.3 powerstroke diesel,You might want to get a set of glowplugs (if you want to change them since you got the valve cover off anyway) This kit includes 1 (one) valve cover, so if you want to do both sides,order two (2) of these kits! It comes with the wire stands under the valve cover,and the plug for the outside the valve cover,You do have to cut the wires and remove the old plug outside the valve cover, and reattach them to the new one. You could use butt connectors,but I opted to solder and shrink wrap them.my advise on replacing the plug is lay the plugs side by side, cut ONE wire off the old, and connect it to the exact same place on the new one, make sure they are both top to top because sometimes the wire colors don't match up,so be careful take your time raplacing the plug wires, and when you are done (if you had bad glowplugs,or burned wires under the valve cover, you won't believe how good it starts and runs. On the glowplugs DO NOT JUST REPLACE JUST ! OR @ IF ! IS BAD REPLACE ALL 8 WITH A GOOD QUALITY GLOWPLUG, I have worked on the 7.3 for many years, and that advise is the best to follow.Good luck

Part came in good time but was for newer diesel engine, even though picture displayed, website confirmation of my year for the part and a phone call to Amazon all seemed to confirm the right part would come in. A waste of time...
