 Great wiper blades Jul 11, 2010
I like these wiper blades very much. They work, they are quiet and they look good. I have had them on one of my cars for two years now and they still work great. I put them on my other cars and can say that regardless of car brand or type, these wipers work.

I put a pair of these Bosch 420As on my 2002 Toyota Camry almost a year ago and they still perform nearly as new. I had planned on replacing them in the spring as I normally do after a Pennsylvania winter beats the daylights out of wipers, but I noticed that these have not degraded in any real measure in that time. Driving through one of the worst downpours imaginable tonight I was still able to see clearly and without worry that the next swipe of the blade was going to blind me momentarily.
I have not coated the blades with anything and do not use any Rain-X or AquaPel products on the vehicle. I do use P21 washer booster in all of my vehicles and notice that the widows clear much faster. I have no data that indicates that the product increases the life of a wiper blade.

Going by the reviews I figured these blades had to be the best on the market. Next time I'll just get some decent ones from Walmart or something... The first time I used them I noticed one pin-line along the wipe. I figured it picked up some dirt or something so I washed off my windshield then cleaned the blades with a damp cloth. Next time it rained, I saw another streak or two. Benefit of the doubt, I cleaned it all up once more. Today, I saw a good 10 lines alone where it wiped. Realize the car sits in a garage and any dirt is from the road. I am thoroughly disappointed in these. I don't feel I'm expecting too much, just something that leaves the glass clear!

I have Bosch Icon wiper blades on my 2000 Honda Civic and they are the best I've ever used. They've worked equally well in rain and snow/slush. They last as long, if not longer, than other blades I've tried. I used to use other (cheaper) Bosch models, but these are much better. They are probably the most expensive blade you'll see in an Autozone, but to me, the cost is worth it for a reliably clear windshield.

I've tried 4 types of single-piece wiper blades and I like the Bosch Icon the best. My first set has been on my Toyota for about 10 months and they're still working as new. Some of the other reviewers say they have problems with the blades not making full contact with the windshield but that has not been my experience. My experience is that the blades contact over their entire length with consistent presssure. These blades are far superior to the OEM blades my dealer sells.
