This is a very high quality replacement for the OEM part that was installed. Fit like a glove and made to last.
Timken Hub Assembly Jan 24, 2012
By jimbob350 Needed to replace the wheel bearings on a 2002 suburban 4wd. These at any part store are almost 200 dollars. I have timken bearings in all of my vehicles, but i always check the new bearing for the phrase "Made in USA." If you are unable to locate that then you have a copy. These had the mark, and have performed as they should and i am very pleased with how easily they went on as well as the price.
Took me and my friend almost 2 hours to have everything done start to finish and all i had to pay was the price of the assembly. 220 bucks sounds alot better then 1200 at the dealership...
As expected from Timken, great product! Jan 23, 2012

I have been buying Timken bearings for years due to their great quality, consistency and fitment. These hub assemblies did not disappoint. Fitment was perfect, installation was easy and quality was exceptional. Highly recommended.
hmm - better late than never Jan 17, 2012
By ogre01 But... Any chevy owner who posses enough shade-tree mechanic in them needs to buy here for their zurban wheel hubs. I think I paid $115 incl shipping per side. This is three times less than any auto parts store, half as much as RockAuto.com and they are Timken bearings, excellent better than OEM spec pieces. I replaced my stock bearings at 190k miles. I expect these to last until 300k at least. But with as inexpensive as they are, I could do it again next summer at 225k and STILL have gotten away with a steal (price-wise). They are very easy to replace on your own, NO special tools required. A good shop will charge you a grand per side to replace wheel hubs, they're not ripping you off, its called business, but the secret is out. If you can follow directions don't be afraid to jump into this on your own.
Replaced hubs, now abs problems Dec 21, 2011

decided to replace the hubs on my chevy 1500 myself, local mechanic wanted 270. for a timken hub plus 140 labor, They look like a high quality unit, but I now have the abs system activating on dry road under 10 mph, most likely because of bad speed sensors in the new hubs, good thing I saved the old sensors.
