replaced the lower ball joints on my 98 expedition with ones from Autozone, 25,000 miles later I am now replacing them again.. this time with Moog.. should have bought these the first time..

I recently rebuilt my front suspension on my Ford Explorer, and while looking for the best parts and prices, I found everyone suggesting Moog parts for the ball joints. While I didn't use Moog for the upper control arms / ball joints, I decided to use Moog for the lower ball joints, and I am pleased with their performance thus far. Moog seems to have a great reputation for quality parts, so I don't think you can go wrong buying the Moog brand.

Used these as a replacement in my 4x4 Ford Ranger. Moog suspension parts are the best money can buy, period. When compared side by side to aftermarket or OEM, even a lay-person can notice the difference in design with the Moog. Save yourself the time and money of doing it over and over again and just spend a little bit more for Moog. It always baffles me how people chince on the parts that matter the most, tires/suspension/braking. It's not worth saving a couple bucks (upfront) and jeopardizing the safety of you and/or your family.

I have a 99 expedition that needed both lower balljoints. I originally purchased one Moog K8695T at a parts store for $58! The price at amazon was almost half the price!
I have bought other things from Amazon using their "make sure it fits" feature. It is extremely accurate, most of the time. This was one of those times. According to the "m.s.i.f." feature this part number will not fit a 99 expedition 4x4, non air suspension. Only after triple verifying with the Moog website (good site) did I feel confident enough to order it from Amazon. It fits perfectly.
