I had the same problem locating a cabin filter for my 09 Sonata. The correct replacement for the Hyundai 08790 2G000A filter is the Wix 24015. It fits perfectly.

I originally had this filter replaced last year by the dealer and they charged $50 for it. What a rip off. Wix is a big name and is doing the same job as the $50 filter for a LOT LOT less.

I purchased this filter to replace the orginal in my 06 Sonata. It is the same size as the original filter and fit without any problems. Easy job to do, just drop down the glove box and remove the filter. Instructions are in the owners manual. This is the first time I did it with 107k miles. The original filter was disgusting and I would recommend replacing this filter every 30k.
